The 2018 UK International Radio Drama Festival opens on Monday 19 March 2018.
Welcome to “Forms of things unknown” – the UK’s International Radio Drama Festival 2018. The Festival offers a first prize of £2000 for the best full length audio drama submitted as judged by the jury. There is also a prize for the best short form drama and – an AUDIENCE AWARD
And if you cant join us to listen live, you can access the dramas we are listening to each day on this website and VOTE for your favourite play.
The 2018 Festival will take place 19 – 23 March in Herne Bay in Kent.
The Festival will be formally opened at 9am on Monday 19 March by Sir Roger Gale, MP at Pettman House, Hanover Square CT6 5NY
Listening starts at 11am on Monday 19th and continues for the rest of the week. All listening sessions are free and take place at Pettman House (some stairs) and at Beach Creative, Beach Street, an accessible venue.
