Almanak – Transcript ENG
Pleased the Radio Drama Festival is continuing to develop – a very positive addition to the UK festival calendar.
I particularly enjoyed the short ‘monoplay’ by Rose Lorraine Craig (‘Happiness’) and would like to nominate this for an audience award.
Dear Peter – you can now vote via the link on the Audience award page
Would love to have the scripts, please, for the non-English entries.
Especially interested in ‘Almanak’ and the Czech entries.
Dear Nigel – these will go up later today
R L Craig’s Happiness is worthy of nomination. A stirring monologue.
Rosie Craigs reading is excellent and I would like to nominate this for an audience award.
What a joy to listen to ‘Happiness’ Rosie Craig’s reading. Would like to nominate her for the award.
There was much solace in listening to Rosie Craig’s monologue. It is refreshing to come across an attitude that sees the positive, the silver lining to life’s experiences. Too often in this world people become their own victims and apportion blame on others. Everyone should take time to dedicate the six plus minutes to reflect on happiness and good.
I loved Rosie’s story ..so eloquently read and written . Such poignant imagination iembedded in truths and deep understanding ..On waves of life’s crescendos and depths
Poetic and Serene , gentle and powerful
I really hope we get to hear more of Rosie Craig’s work definitely has my vote
This is our favorite! Beautiful and thoughtful reading.
Rosie Craig reading on Happiness should receive the audience award.
Rosie Craig’s reading moved me to tears. I would like to vote for her. It is a story of courage faith and determination . It was inspiring.
Rosie Craig’s HAPPINESS is so perfectly written and her reading of it is exquisite…I listened to it three times in a row and felt such intense sincerity in her voice itself..Good on you Rosie, for taking me to another place inside myself..a place of quiet gratitude for what is, for what has been, no matter how hard, ….and for a reason to allow a little smile creep in…
I was too late to give you my vote, but surely you deserved many..
